You know how food blogs always have a super long, annoying backstory that goes along with every single recipe? Well, this food blog is nothing but the annoying backstories.
I used to hate cooking. When I was in college, I gave myself a goal of making enough money so that I would never have to cook. Then once I got a job, I realized I hated the idea of working all the time, and maybe I should try that cooking thing again.
I made so many terrible meals and messes in the kitchen, but eventually I grew to really love cooking. I remember telling my sister back in 2018, "If I ever have my own cooking show, I'd call it Flailing in my Kitchen 🙌" But you know I'm more of a blogger than a vlogger.
At times I have been really crazy about saving money, meal prepping, keeping track of everything in my kitchen, taking the nicest food photos, and constantly thinking about my next seven meals. And I've written all about it in this blog! Sometimes it's fun, but it's also been super stressful.
Nowadays, I'm much less intense about food. I want cooking to be a hobby, not an obligation. And if I'm feeling the urge, I'll take some photos and I'll write about my food thoughts.
This website was designed and coded by myself! It's evolved a lot over time, and I've added my own little personal touches. The dog art was created by my friend and favorite artist bogo!
